Longing to be here. Yearning to be there. This year our Annual Report focuses on the lives of people who have settled here in Liechtenstein or who have moved abroad: Rainer Nägele, a native of Liechtenstein at Yale, Carol Wyss, a native of Liechtenstein, who has set up home in London, Eduard von Falz-Fein, a Russian baron, who now resides in Vaduz, and Gabriela Cortés, a Mexican living in Eschen. Their stories are tales about the impossibility of simultaneously being both here and there and about building bridges between two worlds: connections to far-away places and connections closer to home.
